Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational climate on organizational commitment. The research method used is quantitative with a causality research design. The data collection technique uses saturated samples, where the entire population is used as a sample. The population in this study is 110 members of the Regional Management Board of the Indonesian National Youth Committee of Karawang Regency, consisting of 97 men and 13 women. Data were collected using the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) and organizational climate scales constructed by the researchers. The hypothesis test was carried out by simple regression analysis using SPSS version 25.0 for 64-bit Windows. The results of the study showed a significance value of 0.025 (P < 0.05), which means that there was a negative influence of organizational climate on organizational commitment in members of the Indonesian Youth National Committee of Karawang Regency. The value of the determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.045 shows that 4.5% of the variation in organizational commitment is explained by the organizational climate, while the remaining 95.5% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this study.
