Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Capital and Green Innovation on financial performance (ROA) in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2022-2024. The study used secondary data obtained from annual reports and company sustainability reports. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The test results indicate that Human Capital has no significant effect on financial performance, while Green Innovation has a significant effect with a relatively small level of influence. Simultaneously, Human Capital and Green Innovation influence financial performance, but the low coefficient of determination indicates that variations in ROA are largely explained by factors other than the research model. This study indicates that the implementation of human resource-based strategies and environmentally friendly innovations has not fully provided a strong financial impact in the short term. The results of this study indicate that the management of Human Capital and Green Innovation needs to be carried out sustainably to generate long-term economic benefits.
