Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of SOP on attendance and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Interna Kawan Setia. The study was motivated by the continuing occurrence of attendance violations, tardiness, and unexplained absences that have an impact on the achievement of production targets. The study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods on 150 employees with a sample of 60 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data processing was carried out using SPSS 26 through validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R²), and t and F tests. The results showed that all instruments were valid (calculated r > 0.334) and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.897 for the attendance SOP variable and 0.880 for work discipline and employee performance. The regression equation obtained was Y = 2.561 + 0.092X1 + 0.845X2. The partial test results showed that the attendance SOP was not significant (sig 0.321; t count 1.002 < 2.00172), while work discipline was significant (sig 0.000; t count 8.270 > 2.00172). The simultaneous test shows an F value of 202.240 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, so that both variables together are significant for employee performance. The R² value of 0.878 shows that 87.8% of employee performance is influenced by attendance SOP and work discipline, while 12.2% is influenced by other variables outside the study.
