Abstract

The rapid development of digital payment systems, particularly e-wallets, has driven a transformation in consumer habits, particularly among Generation Z. The convenience, speed, and practicality of transactions offered are driving changes in the way individuals make purchases. Coupled with a modern and dynamic lifestyle, these conditions have the potential to increase the tendency for impulsive purchases among Generation Z employees at PT Golden Siantar Makmur. This quantitative study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 109 respondents selected according to sampling criteria. The collected data were then processed through a series of tests, including validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression. The analysis results indicate that e-wallet and lifestyle variables have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying behavior, both partially and simultaneously. The high coefficient of determination indicates that the research model is able to partially explain the variables of impulsive buying behavior. These findings confirm that the ease of access to digital payments and the consumptive nature of Gen Z's lifestyle influence financial behavior. This research is expected to enrich the financial management literature and serve as a consideration in increasing awareness of more prudent personal financial management
