Pengaruh Beban Kerja Dan Kompensasi Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Pegawai di TPST Cirejag Kecamatan Jati Sari Kab Karawang

Abstract
Human resource management plays an important role in improving public service standards, including in the field of waste management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload and work compensation on employee job satisfaction at the Cirejag Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST), Jatisari District, Karawang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a verification method. The population and sample of the study were 36 employees, with a saturated sampling technique. To collect data, a questionnaire with a Likert scale was used as the primary data, supported by observations, short interviews, and library observations as secondary data sources. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods using SPSS software version 26. The results showed that partially, workload had a negative effect on employee satisfaction. While work compensation had a positive and significant effect on the level of job satisfaction. Simultaneously, workload and work compensation influenced job satisfaction at the Cirejag TPST. The coefficient of determination showed that both independent variables accounted for 50% of the variation in job satisfaction and 50% was influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.
