Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of cooperatives in increasing fishermen's business income through a partnership program with the Ciparagejaya Fish Auction Site (TPI), Karawang Regency. The study used a quantitative descriptive method by analyzing the financial data of the Berkah Mekar Bersama Cooperative and fishermen's income during the January-December 2025 period, which was obtained through financial statement documentation, auction transaction records, and limited interviews. The results of the study show that the cooperative partnership with TPI has a positive impact on the financial performance of the cooperative, characterized by an increase in revenue, net profit, liquidity, and an improvement in the efficiency and profitability ratio. The role of cooperatives as cashiers for the purchase of fish baskets smooths the cash flow of auctions so that the payment of auction proceeds to fishermen becomes more timely. Although this partnership does not directly increase the selling price of fish, its existence is able to increase the stability of fishermen's income, as well as reduce delays in the receipt of business results that cause fishermen to experience limited capital to return to the sea, so that cooperatives play a strategic role in strengthening auction governance and supporting the economic sustainability of coastal fishermen in a sustainable and inclusive local manner.
