Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse partially and simultaneously the effect of workload and physical work environment on the job satisfaction level of employees at PT Pangga Surya Dipala. This study applied a verifiable quantitative method with a population of 50 people. Sample determination applied non-probability sampling techniques through the saturated sampling method, so that the total population was used for the sample. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis techniques applied multiple linear regression methods and was processed using SPSS 26. The findings from the analysis indicate that there is a negative but significant impact of workload on job satisfaction partially. In addition, there is a positive and significant impact of the physical work environment on job satisfaction partially. Simultaneously, employee job satisfaction is significantly affected by workload and physical work environment. It is hoped that this study can be used as a reference for companies to manage workloads in a balanced manner and pay attention to the physical work environment so that employee job satisfaction increases.
