Abstract

This research focuses on the culinary MSME sector in Karawang to evaluate how financial technology and data privacy protocols affect their sustainability performance. To achieve this, a quantitative methodology was implemented, using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The study's participants consisted of 100 respondents, a figure determined by the Slovin formula from a total population of 133,000 MSME units, with a purposive sampling technique employed for selection. Based on the data gathered via questionnaires, the findings reveal that financial technology possesses a significant and positive influence on MSME sustainability. Similarly, data privacy was proven to have a positive and significant impact on performance. The study concludes that by maximizing Fintech utility and implementing proper data privacy management, businesses can enhance their operational efficiency and management effectiveness, thereby securing long-term sustainability.
