Abstract

The main focus of this research is to analyze the impact of work discipline and review the stability of demands between professional and personal spheres (work-life balance) on teacher performance at SDIT Al Istiqomah Karawang. It adopts a quantitative research design through a descriptive- verificative approach. Involving 56 teachers as the total sample using total sampling method, it applies data collected from questionnaires analyzed using multiple linear regression in the SPSS 25 application. The partial test results show that work discipline contributes substantially to teacher performance (calculated t 4.380 > table t 2.006) and so does work-life balance (calculated t 3.702 > table t 2.006). The synergy between work discipline and work-life balance has been proven to have a real impact on optimizing teacher performance. This is supported by empirical facts where the F count value of 40.500 is much higher than the critical F table value of 3.17. The contribution of the two variables reached 60.4% of the fluctuations in teacher performance, with the remaining 39.6% being the implication of external factors outside this research model.
