The effect of motivation and self-efficacy on work readiness of grade xii students at smk ti muhammadiyah cikampek

Work readiness is an important issue for 12th grade students who will soon enter the workforce after graduation. However, not all students have the same level of readiness. This study was conducted to determine the extent to which motivation and self-efficacy affect students' work readiness. Work readiness is not only shaped by technical skills, but also by psychological factors within students. This study aims to determine the influence of work motivation and self-efficacy on the work readiness of 12th grade students at SMK TI Muhammadiyah Satu Cikampek. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative design. The research sample consisted of 100 students selected using probability sampling techniques. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that work motivation and self-confidence are very important in shaping students' work readiness. This study is expected to be a consideration for students in designing programs to improve their work readiness.
