Abstract

This research seeks to examine how daily interest rates and financial knowledge affect the choice to use SeaBank’s digital banking among students in Karawang Regency. A quantitative method was chosen, utilizing a descriptive-verificative approach. Data for the study were gathered through an online survey given to 395 students who had previously accessed SeaBank's services. The analysis of the data was performed using path analysis methods. Findings show that the indicators of daily interest rates, financial knowledge, and usage decisions are rated as "good" Correlation analysis shows a positive connection between daily interest rates and financial knowledge, but this relationship is deemed weak. In isolation, daily interest rates do not significantly impact the decision to utilize SeaBank’s digital banking services. In contrast, financial knowledge is found to have a positive and significant impact on the choice to use SeaBank’s digital banking services. Tests conducted simultaneously suggest that the combination of daily interest rates and financial knowledge together has a positive and substantial influence on the decision to engage with SeaBank’s digital banking services. From these findings, it can be inferred that financial knowledge has a more pronounced effect on students' decisions to use SeaBank’s digital banking, while daily interest rates act as a secondary factor in the overall decision-making.
